Holly Madison Biography

Born on December 23, 1979, in Astoria, Oregon, Holly Madison moved at a young age to Prince of Wales Island in Alaska. It was there that she developed her love for nature, spending endless hours observing animals and playing in the woods. However, the move wasn't permanent and Holly and her family returned to Oregon during her early teens. Reflecting upon those awkward years, Holly recalls, "I look back on my middle/high school days and see an Alaskan fish out of water who wasn't good at socializing or fitting in."

Fortunately, this "Alaskan fish" survived her formative years, and upon graduation, Holly enrolled at Portland State University, where she chose to study theater and psychology. Holly stayed there for two years before bolting for the sunnier climes of L.A.'s Loyola Marymount University.

L.A. may have been warmer, but it was also more expensive, so Holly began supplementing her income by working as a Hawaiian Tropic model and serving up food as a roller-skating waitress at Hooters in Santa Monica. It was at Hooters that Holly first began hearing about the legendary parties thrown at the nearby Play..boy Mansion. Holly liked what she heard and was delighted when one of Hugh Hefner's friends put her on a Mansion party list after spotting her at a Hawaiian Tropic Event. The event, as Holly recalls, was the Midsummer Night's Dream party, a bacchanal feast for the senses that routinely attracts some of the biggest names in Hollywood.

"I attended with a few of my girlfriends from Hooters," Holly says. "We explored the place (which looked amazing!) and saw lots of celebrities and centerfolds. I was most excited to meet Hef, Seth Green from the Austin Powers movies and Heather Kozar, one of my favorite Play..mates."

In 2001, after a year of frequenting Mansion events, Holly finally had the chance to sit down with Hef and was delighted to find out just how much the two of them had in common. "We love to do the same things," she says. "We love to watch the same old movies and go out to the same places and hang out with the same people and it was just a great match."

One week and one date later, she was calling the Mansion "home" after being invited to become one of Hef's seven girlfriends. The 80-year-old swinger must have been impressed with his latest addition, because he soon whittled his gorgeous harem down to just Holly and fellow Oregonian Bridget Marquardt. More importantly, Hef's thinning of the herd promoted Holly to the role of "number one girlfriend," a position that entitled her to share a room with the Play..boy founder.

Since joining Hef's life, Holly has participated in the regular routine of Play..mate activities. She has been a mainstay at Mansion events, she's taken part in Play..boy trips and she's even started appearing on television. In 2002, she showed off the Mansion on MTV's Cribs, and in 2003, she made appearances on the reality show The Surreal Life and Snoop Dogg's short-lived sketch comedy series Doggy Fizzle Televizzle.

2004 gave Holly even more face time as she dropped by The Sharon Osbourne Show and made cameos on The Bernie Mac Show and Viva la Bam. It was 2005, however, that proved to be her breakthrough year. Holly spent the year starring on E! Entertainment's The Girls Next Door along with Bridget and Hef's latest addition, Kendra Wilkinson. The top-rated reality show presents viewers with an intimate glimpse of the girls' every day lives. "Sometimes it's a pain in the butt to have cameras following me 24/7," she admits, "but the show has led to opportunities I have only dreamed of!"

Those opportunities included appearances on HBO's Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Tyra Banks Show. 2005 also marked Holly's first official appearance in Play..boy, as she, Bridget and Kendra appeared in a special The Girls Next Door pictorial for the November issue. Before that time, Holly had only appeared in the magazine in candid party pics.

Despite her dream-like existence, Holly claims to have both feet planted firmly on the ground and is now studying real estate at UCLA. So where does she see herself in five years' time? "I see myself alone with Hef," she confesses. "Not that I don't necessarily want other people around. I'm a people person, so having Bridget and Kendra living here is great. But do I like him having other girlfriends? No. I know that I'm his number one girl, but I think he needs to get rid of the extra girls."

Hanna Verboom Biography

Although born in Belgium, Hanna Verboom spent much of her childhood in the African wild, growing up in Kenya, Uganda and Sudan. By the time she moved to the Netherlands, it was readily apparent that Hanna had blossomed into womanhood. Tall, blonde and statuesque, the Belgian beauty soon embarked on a successful modeling career with prominent commercial spots for CNN, Vodafone and Orange. Her exemplary work in front of the camera also allowed Hanna to capture the prestigious Dutch Elite Model Look in 2003.

Hannah's increased exposure naturally led to more frequent television appearances, and in 2004, she was tabbed to host the Netherlands' version of Top of the Pops. She also made her big-screen debut that same year with a starring role in the hilarious Dutch comedy Snowfever. It was 2005, however, that truly put Hanna on the international map, as she starred in Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.

The film earned over $44 million worldwide, but just as importantly, it convinced Rob Schneider that Hannah had star power. "She's gonna follow in Rachel McAdams' footsteps, being a big star and making movies with all these other people," he said. "I think Hanna Verboom can follow in her footsteps."

Paris Hilton Biography

Paris Hilton was born on February 17th, 1981, to Rick and Kathy Hilton, making her the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, founder of the Hilton hotels and source of the family fortune -- estimated at $300 million. Her grandfather, Conrad "Nicky" Hilton, Jr., also brought some notoriety to the family, as he was the first of Elizabeth Taylor's many ex-husbands. Paris' younger sister, Nicky (born in 1983), shares the throne as co-heiress of the Hilton empire.

paris hilton the model

Because she grew up in Manhattan's ritzy Waldorf-Astoria, the family's New York home, as well as other Hilton digs in Beverly Hills and the Hamptons, Paris didn't yearn for much. Even after she graduated from high school, college didn't appeal to her. So, around the year 2000, Paris decided to branch out and become famous.

She first made a name for herself as a model, and appeared in shows for designers such as Marc Bouwer and Catherine Malandrino, and she later completed an ad campaign for Iceberg, an Italian label. In addition, Paris posed for spreads in national magazines such as GQ, Vanity Fair and FHM, and has been profiled, along with her sister, in People magazine

paris hilton in the tabloids

What better way to become famous than to be seen in the tabloids? Paris Hilton became the center of attention because of her relationships -- real or imagined by the paparazzi -- with some of Hollywood's hottest young stars including Leonardo DiCaprio, Terminator 2's Edward Furlong and boxer Oscar de la Hoya. Paris was linked with actor and Tommy Hilfiger model, Jason Shaw (to whom she was engaged to), Sum 41 lead singer Derek Whibley and Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys as well. She was also engaged to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis, from in 2005.

Her partying ways also landed her in tabloids time and time again (with and without panties).

paris hilton stars in the simple life

Perhaps in an effort to clean up her image, Paris tried to make her mark and worked on more substantial projects. In 2001, she had a cameo appearance in Ben Stiller's fashion spoof, Zoolander. Other appearances included a role as a strung-out supermodel in the film short QIK2JDG, The Hillz (co-starring boyfriend Jason Shaw), Wonderland, and the big-screen adaptation of the Dr. Seuss classic, The Cat in the Hat. She also starred in the FOX reality show The Simple Life with gal pal Nicole Ritchie, which featured the two Hollywood starlets living on a farm.

paris hilton on sex video

Paris Hilton grabbed headlines in late 2003 once again thanks to a sex tape that leaked out starring then-boyfriend Rick Solomon. The video, 1 Night in Paris, was released on the net and, of course, spread like wildfire.

Just months later Paris Hilton appeared in 2004's Raising Helen, starring Kate Hudson.

paris hilton goes to jail

Paris probably received more media attention during her 22 days in jail than any other time, and the paparazzi gathered in hoards to constantly film her. She was charged in September 2006 with driving under the influence, and in June 2007, she served 22 days in Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood. Her much-publicized release finally came on June 26, 2007.

Ursula Mayes Biography

Ursula Yvonne Mayes was born on August 9, 1979, at a military base in Seoul, South Korea. As an army brat, she traveled frequently early on, and made stops in places like Puerto Rico and North Carolina along the way, before settling in the Washington, DC area. This is where she would spend the remainder of her childhood.

With five brothers in the house, Ursula had a lot of masculine influences, which may explain her constant troublemaking. She also picked up interests like boxing and rock music, and managed to get mixed up in less-than-stellar hobbies like hot-wiring cars. The extent of Ursula's teenage troubles is unknown, but as she grew older, she developed a healthier pastime that would send her life in an exciting new direction.

ursula mayes in maxim

Despite her teen issues, Ursula held a keen interest in photography that led her to her aunt's photo studio for work. The plan was to stay behind the camera and help with hair and makeup, but her aunt encouraged Ursula to try modeling, and a new talent was born.

When Ursula's pictures started to win awards for her aunt, a Virginia modeling agency signed her. At the time, she shifted between jobs as a waitress, an office manager and a makeup artist. In 2004, these jobs vanished when Ursula finished third in Maxim's Hometown Hotties search. Because of this, she was invited to Hawaii, where she won the Miss Hot Import Nights title against thousands of other competitors. Ursula's true modeling career had begun.

ursula mayes joins action media and dreamgirl

Ursula embarked on a national Miss Hot Import Nights tour to celebrate her crown and Action Media, the contest sponsor, followed suit by appointing Ursula as their new spokesmodel. She also became a familiar TV presence (something she still does today) for Action Media-sponsored shows like Hot Import Nights, Nightshift, VIP, and Auto Fashion.

Ursula relocated to Orange County and promptly signed on with two modeling agencies. This led to a multitude of print gigs for clients like Muscle & Fitness, OC Health, Chicago Clubline, and Bacardi. Ursula also signed on with Dreamgirl and became their 2006 spokesmodel, serving as their go-to girl for clothing and lingerie catalogs. Even with all of this attention, there was still something else waiting in the wings.

ursula mayes on deal or no deal

After participating in the Super Bowl Lingerie Bowl, Ursula was offered a new assignment as the substitute Suitcase Model No. 9 on Deal or No Deal. After appearing in only one episode in February of 2006, she was promoted as a replacement for No. 5, and by the following season, Ursula was the brand new No. 5 model and a familiar face on the game show circuit.

Since starting her stint on Deal or No Deal, Ursula has found new ways to add to her fame. She's launched a website, a calendar and a DVD to reach out to fans around the world who recognize her picture from her various creative endeavors. She's entered the video game industry by appearing in Juice 2 Hot Import Nights, and she's taken on acting duties in the feature film Redline (2007). We're not sure what the next surprise in store for Ursula will be, but we're certainly looking forward to it.

Penelope Cruz Sanchez was born on April 28, 1974, in Madrid, Spain. She displayed a proclivity for performance while she was still in diapers, as she would often entertain her family members by re-enacting popular TV commercials. She eventually transferred this enthusiasm to the world of dance, and she studied classical ballet for nine years at Spain’s prestigious National Conservatory. Penelope Cruz seemed well on her way towards a career as a dancer, though there did come a point at which she was unexpectedly bitten by the acting bug.

penelope cruz appears in belle epoque

While still in her teens, Penelope Cruz embarked on a quest to establish herself as an actress -- with her professional debut coming in 1991 with a guest appearance on a French soap entitled Softly From Paris. 2000 proved to be the defining year of Penelope Cruz’s career, as the actress’ roles in Woman on Top and All the Pretty Horses propelled her to the top of Hollywood’s A-list. Beyonce Biography

Born on September 4, 1981, to a loving family in Houston, Texas, Beyonce Giselle Knowles showed an aptitude for music before she could even talk. As a young girl, she would drown out everyone, including the choir, on Sundays at church. Every weekend, she tuned her voice by doing soulful hymns with the congregation and then moved on to opera classes, in which she was classically trained.

beyonce in destiny's child

A normal childhood was not in the books for Beyonce. At 8 years old, she met LaTavia Robertson while auditioning for a girl musical group and Matthew Knowles, Beyonce's manager and father, later paired the two with LeToya Luckett. In 1992, cousin Kelly Rowland joined the group, and they performed together on Star Search.

Small gigs and much label-shopping later, the four beauties cemented their relationship by calling themselves Destiny's Child. In 1997, "No, No, No" became their first official single, and they got off to a big start as the track went multiplatinum. The girls were instantly popular in the media and impressed all with their self-titled debut.

If critics were impressed with this new R&B group's success, they were absolutely floored when The Writing's on the Wall hit stores in 1999. DC, led by the incomparable Beyonce, had three top 10 hits within the year: "Jumpin, Jumpin," "Say My Name" and "Bills, Bills, Bills." They became one of the best-selling female groups of recent memory after this second album sold more than nine million units worldwide. At the same time, it was announced that their single "Independent Women Part 1," off the Charlie's Angels soundtrack, had reached the largest audience ever in the recorded radio airplay -- 140.4 million pairs of ears.

beyonce's grammys

Shortly after the announcement of five Grammy nominations at the 2001 awards show and the excitement of the unbelievable record sales, LeToya and LaTavia left the group amid management struggles. Legal problems ensued, but Destiny's Child became whole again with the arrival of Michelle Williams, and, for a short stint only, backup singer Farrah Franklin. At the Grammys, DC took home two awards, Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group, both for "Say My Name."

As a trio, Destiny's Child's third album, Survivor, which debuted in the spring of 2001, garnered a whole new set of hits, like "Bootylicious" and the title track. The success of Survivor resulted in another Grammy for the group in February 2002. In fact, the American Music, MTV, Soul Train, and Image Awards all showered the group with more hardware and praise.

beyonce in austin powers

After all this success, the group's three talented "sistas" decided to try their hands at solo careers before investing their time in another Destiny's Child album. To no one's surprise, Beyonce captured the bulk of the spotlight with her sex appeal and strong vocals. Even before her first album was organized, she had a hit with Jay-Z called "Bonnie and Clyde '03" and was cracking up audiences with her big-screen debut alongside Mike Myers in Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002). This simply prepared fans for what was to come with Dangerously In Love, released in June 2003.

In 2003, Beyonce ventured onto the big screen again in the musical/comedy The Fighting Temptations alongside Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr.

beyonce's crazy in love

Beyonce displayed a versatile style with this solo effort, creating the club hit "Baby Boy," the pop success "Crazy In Love" and the soulful "The Closer I Get To You" with Luther Vandross. Like her work in Destiny's Child, Beyonce wrote or cowrote many of the tracks and performed her heart out on award shows to get the word out to a huge audience. She has emerged as a diva, making the best videos, catchiest songs and creating the most headlines. At 2004's Grammy ceremony, Beyonce took away five awards and was the biggest winner of the night (a feat Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys and Norah Jones each accomplished in previous years). It was also during this time that Beyonce become involved with her "Crazy In Love" duet partner, Jay-Z.

In 2006, Beyonce hit the big screen again in The Pink Panther with comedic icon Steve Martin. The movie debuted at No. 1 on its opening weekend, and further solidified Beyonce as a double threat in the industry.

beyonce releases b'day

Beyonce's second solo effort, B'Day, was released in September 2006 with much success, selling 3,116,000 copies worldwide (and released on her 25th birthday). The singles "Deja Vu," "Ring the Alarm" and "Irreplaceable" all hit No. 1 on the charts, and the album was nominated for an outstanding five Grammy Awards in 2007.

Beyonce was no stranger to award nominations in 2007, however, as her role in the musical Dreamgirls (2006) garnered the star her first official nomination as an actress by none other than the prestigious Golden Globes. She was also awarded the International Artist Award at the 2007 American Music Awards.

Salma Hayek Biography

Salma Hayek was born on September 2, 1966, and raised in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Mexico. Her religious parents -- father of Lebanese descent, mother of Spanish descent -- wanted to ensure that their daughter would be well educated, and sent her to a Louisiana boarding school when she was 12. Sent back home for being a prankster, Salma Hayek finished high school and was sent to Houston to live with her aunt until the age of 17.

Roles in 1995's Fair Game and 1996's Fled did not do the actress justice, but with Salma Hayek websites finding their home in cyberspace and roles pouring in, audiences were sure to take notice of this Mexican beauty.

In 1996, Salma Hayek appeared in Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk Till Dawn with George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino, and starred alongside Matthew Perry in the 1997 romantic comedy, Fools Rush In. That same year, Hayek charmed audiences with her role as Esmeralda in a TNT rendition of The Hunchback of Notre Dame simply called Hunchback.

Salma Hayek's film repertoire continued to expand, with a role as a cocaine-sniffing dancer in 54, based on the rise and fall of the popular '70s nightclub. She also starred opposite Jordana Brewster and Elijah Wood in 1998's teen slasher flick, The Faculty (also a Robert Rodriguez film), alongside Matt Damon and Ben Affleck in 1999's controversial Dogma, and opposite Kevin Kline and Will Smith in 1999's big budget disappointment, Wild Wild West.

Barbara Mori Biography

Born in Uruguay, Barbara Mori moved to Mexico after her parents divorced when she was just 3 years old. She enjoyed a normal childhood in Mexico -- until, at the age of 14, she was discovered by famed fashion designer Marcos Toledo while she was working at a restaurant. Impressed with her poise and uncommon beauty, Marcos offered Barbara a job as a model and it wasn’t long before the up-and-coming beauty was living the high life and rubbing shoulders with the best and brightest in her field.

Once she realized that models generally have a limited shelf life, Barbara began to think about her future, eventually settling on a possible career as an actress. With that realization, Barbara enrolled in acting classes and began the slow process of auditioning.

In 1997, Barbara landed her first gig -- a spot on a Mexican soap called Al norte del corazón. Barbara followed that up in ’98 with a starring role on Azul tequila. Although she spent the next several years appearing in a slew of TV shows and movies, Barbara’s big break came in 2004 when she was cast in the lead role in the high-profile soap, Rubi.

Already a star in Mexico, Barbara was finally introduced to the rest of the world in 2005 with the release of the critically-acclaimed La Mujer de mi hermano. Barbara’s future is bright and it’s just a matter of time before she establishes herself as the next hot import -- think Penelope Cruz or Salma Hayek.

Halle Berry Biography

Born August 14, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio, Halle is a stunning model, a celebrity entertainer and a star actress. Halle is the youngest daughter born to Jerome and Judith Berry, an interracial couple. Halle, and her older sister Heidi, spent the first few years of their childhood living in an inner-city neighborhood. Her abusive father, Jerome Berry, abandoned his wife and children, and left the family when Halle was four years old. Halle was raised almost totally by her mother, Judith, a psychiatric nurse. Judith then moved her family to the predominantly white Cleveland suburb of Bedford.

This rough start to her life did not deter her from excelling in whatever she did. Halle attended a nearly all-white public school, and as a result, she was subjected to discrimination at an early age. Throughout high school, Halle participated in a variety of extracurricular activities, holding positions of newspaper editor, class president, member of the honor society, varsity cheerleader, and prom queen.

Halle easily won Miss Ohio, Miss Teen All-American, and in 1986, was first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant. She was the first African American to represent the U.S. in the Miss World competition in London. Halle attended Cleveland's Cuyahoga Community College, where she studied broadcast journalism. Halle abandoned her idea of a career in news reporting however, choosing to wholeheartedly devote her time to a career in entertainment. She first moved to Chicago, then New York City, where she found work as a catalog model.

Halle's acting career began in television with a role on the short-lived sitcom "Living Dolls". This was followed by a year-long run on the CBS prime time drama "Knot’s Landing". Halle's first big screen break came later that year when she was cast as Samuel L. Jackson’s drug addicted girlfriend in Spike Lee’s "Jungle Fever". More substantial supporting roles followed, including that of a stripper in the action-thriller "The Last Boy Scout", starring Bruce Willis. This success lead to Halle as the woman who finally wins Eddie Murphy’s heart in the romantic comedy "Boomerang".

Halle, now with a few films under her belt, accepted more offbeat roles, making cameos in the rockumentary "CB4" which traced the rise and fall of the titled rap group. She then starred in the live action version of "The Flintstones", featuring Halle as a Stone Age seductress, a very sexy and successful performance. Halle's next role was a no-holds-barred performance as a rehabilitated crack addict seeking to regain custody of her son in "Losing Isaiah". The story was set in the midst of a bitter custody battle with adoptive parents, played by Jessica Lange and David Strathairn. Later that year, Halle overcame Hollywood's racial barriers when she was cast as the first African American to play the Queen of Sheeba in Showtime’s movie "Solomon & Sheeba".

In a short romance, Halle was involved in a stormy relationship with "Jungle Fever" costar Wesley Snipes. In 1993, she married Atlanta Braves outfielder David Justice, and three years later, Berry filed for a divorce, which was finalized in 1997. After a nasty divorce from Justice, Halle became secretly engaged to Eric Benét, a jazz musician, in August of 1999. The engagement was announced in December of that year. Halle introduced Benét as her "husband" at the public unveiling of her official Web site, Hallewood, in February 2001, while the couple actually wed two weeks before at an undisclosed tropical location. Recently, Halle has been introduced as the new Bond Girl, and we are sure to see her in a very sexy role in the near future
